--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wulai is located in southern New Taipei City. It is a beautiful small Dist surrounded by spectacular mountain ranges, running rivers, and hot springs.
Along with Peitou and Yangmingshan, Wulai is one of Northern Taiwan's three premier hot spring resorts. The word "Wulai" in the Atayal language means hot springs. Unlike other hot springs in Taiwan, the Wulai Hot Spring is colorless and odorless.
Wulai is also famous for its aboriginal culture. Wulai Atayal Museum displays the native culture, tradition habitations, and historical artifacts of the Atayal aboriginal tribe.

Wulai Atayal Museum
Having hosted people from all around the world, the Wulai Atayal Museum is an ideal place to learn more about Taiwan’s indigenous historical past and the local culture. This four-story building proudly displays the history, customs, culture, rituals, religious faith, and festivals of the Atayal aboriginal tribe. Here, visitors can not only view Atayal tribal historical relics but also experience their unique living traditions and tribal festivals.

Wulai Hot Springs
In the Atayal language, the word “Wulai” means “hot springs.” However, the water found here is better known as “beauty spring” because the spring water here rejuvenates the skin with its rich elements of alkaline sodium bicarbonate. Odorless, clear, and with a temperature of up to 80 degrees centigrade, these springs are an ideal place to relax and enjoy Wulai’s wonderful water and natural environment.
